Frequently Asked Questions

Can you install a ceiling fan where there's currently no light fixture?

Yes. If there's no existing wiring in the ceiling, we can run a new circuit from your electrical panel. We'll assess the ceiling construction and give you a quote that includes both the electrical rough-in and the fan installation.

My ceiling fan wobbles. Can it be fixed without replacing it?

Usually yes. Wobble is almost always caused by unbalanced blades — either from warping, dirt buildup, or misaligned blade brackets. We balance the fan by cleaning the blades and using a blade balancing kit. If wobble persists, the motor or mounting bracket may need replacement, which we can handle as well.

What size ceiling fan do I need for my room?

Room square footage determines fan size. Up to 75 sq ft: 29–36 inch. 76–144 sq ft: 36–42 inch. 144–225 sq ft: 44–50 inch. 225–400 sq ft: 50–54 inch. For rooms over 400 sq ft, we often recommend two fans. We'll confirm the right size during your estimate.
